What is a Late
Availability Holiday?
In the main, holidays that are sold
close to the departure date.
How does it Work ?
In general there are two types of
late availability holidays:
1. Where you book
“named” accommodation, that is you know
which accommodation you’ll be staying in when
you book or
2. You choose the destination airport
and the type of accommodation i.e. room only, self catering,
hotel and the tour operator decides on the specific
resort and accommodation.
Will my Accomodation be featured in any brochure?
Perhaps - you’ll need to check
when you arrive as some companies contract additional
accommodation for late holidays.
When will I be told where i'm staying
If you’ve not booked “named”
accommodation you’ll usually be told when you
arrive at your destination airport. Check with your
travel advisor when booking.
Is a late availability holiday right for me?
A late availability holiday is ideal for someone who knows
where and when they wish to travel but are flexible about
where they will stay. If you have specific needs then
a late deal is not right for you i.e. Children's facilities,
busy/quiet areas, low floor etc. |
